We are pleased to announce a successful mobility, held in the period from March 27 to April 3 2025 in Coimbra, Portugal.
Teachers from Vocational High School of Technology and Light Industry – Popovo conducted work observations through visits to educational institutions and were able to exchange experiences with their colleagues from the Portuguese educational system, thus upgrading their professional competencies and increasing their cultural awareness. The project is with number 2024-1-BG01-KA121-VET-000211785 and is funded by the European Union, under the Erasmus + program. It was implemented thanks to our partners Mondego Mobilities from Portugal.
The project involved 10 teachers from the high school, including prominent pedagogical specialists teaching specialized subjects in the high school related to the IT industry, graphic and fashion design. The working visits were at companies in the software and graphic design sectors, as well as at the educational institutions Escola Secundária Avelar Brotero and the Higher Institute of Engineering of Coimbra. Visits and familiarization with teaching practices are key factors in the implementation and application of innovative and interactive teaching methods, as well as in the updating and improvement of practical curricula in the taught specialties.
We are very happy to announce that this vocational school will have the opportunity to send 2 student groups on mobility for the purpose of practical training and professional internships, respectively in April and May this year.
