Horizon ProConsult

We  are pleased to inform you about the successful implementation of mobility under the Erasmus+ program from “Ivan Vazov” Secondary School – Pomorie. The activities were held during the period … (add dates) in the city of Zaragoza, Spain, with the assistance of our partners from the Mundus organization.

The project, funded by the European Union, is numbered 2025-1-BG01-KA122-SCH-000311281 and is aimed at upgrading pedagogical skills through creative, innovative and digital approaches to teaching. 12 predagogical and managerial staff took part in the mobility, who had the opportunity to get acquainted with current trends in European education.

During the working visit, the group visited four leading educational institutions in the city of Zaragoza: “Selisianos”, “Colegio Alemán Zaragoza”, “Dominicos” and “Montessori Colegio”. Each of these schools provided a different view of the organization of the educational process and the application of modern methodologies.

In “Selisianos” the teachers observed practices aimed at the active participation of students through interactive and practical tasks. At the Colegio Alemán Zaragoza, they were introduced to the German model of teaching in an international environment and to approaches based on discipline, organization and digital integration. The visit to “Dominicos” provided an opportunity to observe modern methods of working with different age groups, including role-playing games and discussion techniques. At the Montessori Colegio, the participants had the opportunity to see up close the application of the Montessori methodology, which puts emphasis on individual approach and independent learning.

The visits gave participants the opportunity to observe how Spanish schools integrate non-formal learning approaches, role-plays, interactive discussions and debates that stimulate students’ creative and critical thinking. The teachers also got acquainted with a number of methods for maintaining high motivation in class and for creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment.

The use of digital tools and platforms that support hybrid learning and facilitate the introduction of innovations was also very impressive. Observations on the way Spanish teachers use artificial intelligence in preparing lessons and creating teaching materials provided ideas for modernizing the educational process at Ivan Vazov Secondary School.

Mobility has made a significant contribution to the development of the school’s international activities. Meetings with teachers and specialists from different educational institutions in Zaragoza created a basis for future partnerships and for sustainable cooperation in the field of pedagogical innovation. The participants increased their foreign language competencies and skills to work in an international environment, which is a key aspect for the development of the modern school.

The cultural program complemented the professional activities by giving participants the opportunity to get to know the rich historical and architectural heritage of Zaragoza. The city impressed with its unique atmosphere, combining Roman history, Moorish influence, and contemporary Spanish culture.

We express our special gratitude to our partners from Mundus – Spain, as well as to all institutions that contributed to the successful implementation of the mobility. Their cooperation and professionalism turned the project into a significant and inspiring step forward in the development of the school.
