We are pleased to inform you about the successful implementation of another Erasmus+ mobility from Marin Popov Vocational High School – Sevlievo. The mobility took place in the period March 31 – April 6, 2025 in the city of Reggio Emilia, Italy, with the kind assistance of our partners from IFOM – Italy.
The project has the number 2024-1-BG01-KA121-VET-000211766 and is implemented with the financial support of the European Union.
Main activities and highlights of the mobility:
Visits to car repair shops and a logistics company
Within the framework of the mobility, the teachers from the high school had the opportunity to visit four car repair shops specializing in the maintenance and repair of motor vehicles, as well as the logistics company “Integra”, which has already hosted student mobility of the high school. The employers highly appreciated the students’ performance and expressed their desire to welcome them again, given that the school will send a group on practical internships in July.
Work observations in vocational schools
The program also included working visits to two vocational schools – one with a technical and the other with an agricultural focus. At the technical school, the teachers had the opportunity to attend robotics classes and practical training. At the agricultural school, they were introduced to modern agricultural machinery, greenhouse production, as well as production processes for products such as cheese, wine, marmalade and others.
Cultural program: Immersion in Italian heritage
As part of the cultural program, the participants visited two of Italy’s iconic cities – Bologna, known for its medieval towers and university history, and Florence – the cradle of the Renaissance. This gave the group the opportunity not only to get to know Italian culture, but also to touch the rich historical and architectural heritage of the country.
We express our heartfelt gratitude to our partners from IFOM – Italy, as well as to all the organizations that contributed to the full realization of the mobility. Their hospitality, professionalism and commitment made this project truly meaningful and inspiring for all participants.
