The online platform for the VET Circle project has already been developed, and the testing phase is currently underway. The goal of the project is to connect vocational high school students with international employers, providing them with practical internships and placement opportunities. It also aims to create a network linking interns from VET schools and universities with various international companies.
The platform is open for registration at https://vetcircle.eu/ to candidates aged 15 to 35, preparing for careers in various professional fields—such as finance, marketing, design, healthcare, and IT. Candidates can easily navigate through internship and job opportunities at companies from partner countries, including North Macedonia, Turkey, the Netherlands, Bulgaria, and Greece.
The need for this platform arises from the lack of a centralized website where students can search for practical job opportunities. Surveys conducted by project partners with students, teachers, and company mentors have provided valuable insights, which have helped shape online training courses for teachers and mentors. These courses focus on key aspects of career orientation, such as conducting job interviews, work-based learning, and evaluation. The Horizon ProConsult team, representing Bulgaria, is currently developing the final module on evaluation.
The project aims to successfully place students in selected companies, with the possibility of some trainees being employed after completing the program. Registration on the platform, as well as access to training materials, is free of charge at https://elearning.vetcircle.eu.
