The first of a series of meetings was held on April 26, launching the joint Open minds project of the countries of Denmark, Greece, Belgium, Bulgaria, Italy, Slovenia and Cyprus. The meeting was held online due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The representative of the coordinating country welcomed those present and summarised the goals and mission of the project.
The project activities and the plan for implementation of its objectives were discussed. The project will start with a focus on collecting and analyzing data on social exclusion and radicalization in the partner countries, which aims to identify the socio-economic problems that lead to radicalization.
The first face-to-face meeting between the partners is scheduled for the beginning of October in Italy.
