Science, technology, engineering, maths – the statistics behind the skills of Bulgarian students

Students in Computer Lab

At the end of last month, the team of Horizon ProConsult conducted research about graduates’ STEM skills (those in science, technology, engineering and maths). The main focus were the skill gaps among Bulgarian students, their future possibilities on the labour market, the most desirable professional sectors, and the government’s measures on increasing the educational level up to standards.

The initiative is part of the Cares project (Career Accessibility for Resilient Employment in STEMM) 2020-1-UK01-KA201-078909, in which we are one of the partners organisations.

The results we managed to gather point to a positive development perspective among the Bulgarian youth. The desire and interest in learning are noticeable, as well as the motivation for a professional realisation after graduation.
