From 4th to 8th July , a meeting for the Work Based Learning – Pathway to Youth Empower “International Exchange Project” was held. The main objective of the project was to create an appropriate and favorable environment for intercultural dialogue on vocational training and education (VET/VET)

7 national teams participated: Romania, Poland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Bulgaria and Greece. On the first day of the meeting, each of the teams was tasked with presenting a summary of the education system at the national level, as well as to describe the approach of the institutions providing professional qualification to the students in high schools for the respective purpose.

Participants discussed the similarities and differences and touched on important topics for the purposes and disadvantages of the VET sector.

The last 2 days have been devoted to the development of practical materials that would help teachers and students during mobilities and trainings from this type. Four teams were formed, each working on a different task, but they all had to prepare manuals for the preparation of the participating sides in this type of project- students, teachers, organizations and more.

The project meeting ended with the monitoring of the results and an evaluation, which happened not only in an administrative but also in a creative way, by remaining a personal message by each participant to the organization.

We from Horizont Proconsult are happy to have the opportunity to mentor such an important and unique meeting!
