We are happy to share about another mobility of the teachers from PGHTBT Maria Curie – Razgrad in the fields of Chemical and Biotechnology with project number 2024-1-BG01-KA121-VET-000211739 funded by Erasmus+.
They had their job-shadowing from 29.03.2025 to 04.04.2025 in Kraków, Poland, thanks to our partners Erasmus Kraków.
The participants had the opportunity to learn about the latest methodologies in the education sector. The group visited the school laboratory of Zespół Szkół Specjalnych nr 14 as well as the faculties of Production Engineering and Food Technology at Uniwersytet Rolniczy w Krakowie. Thus, the teachers exchanged good teaching practices and tried out new educational methods. Teachers experienced teaching approaches in digital and virtual environments through VR equipment that their colleagues in Poland use.
In addition, the programme included visits to companies and institutions in the industry. The teachers visited the National Radiation Centre Synchrotron SOLARIS and the company laboratory of BARG Południe Sp. z o.o. – learning about innovative principles of recycling and reusing bio-waste to create products. The mobility participants exchanged experiences and opinions with their colleagues on research in the fields of catalysis, biomedical engineering, nanomaterials, pharmacology and geology.
In addition to the professional and academic aspects of the project, the teachers experienced Polish culture by visiting significant landmarks in Kraków and the surrounding area and trying delicacies from the local cuisine.
The teachers returned from Poland satisfied with the wonderful opportunity for professional, academic and cultural exchange.
