Another successful mobility program for 20 students from National Trade School in Plovdiv took place in Reggio Emilia, Italy, from March 21 to April 10, 2026, in cooperation with our partners at IFOM.
The mobility took place as part of the activities of the “Horizon” National Consortium for Improving the Quality of Vocational Education and Training in the Fields of Business Administration, Economics, and Trade, coordinated by Horizon ProConsult. The project number is 2025-1-BG01-KA121-VET-000312650, and it is funded under the “Erasmus+” program.
Students from the “Business Administration,” “Information Economy,” and “E-commerce” who completed their internships in a real-world work environment. Under the guidance of mentors from the host organisations, they familiarised themselves with the companies’ organisational structures, business processes, and professional work standards.
Students from “Business Administration” gained practical experience in document and information processing, business correspondence, communication with clients and institutions, as well as in organising administrative activities and business processes.
Participants from the field “Information Economics” program developed skills in analysing and processing business data, working with business analysis and project management tools, monitoring IT processes, and using modern technologies to support business decisions.
Students from “E-commerce” learned about the workings of online sales platforms, the administration of online stores, digital marketing, the analysis of online campaigns, and the management of customer orders.
During the internship, all participants developed their communication skills and ability to work in a team, and improved their English language proficiency in an international professional environment.
In addition to gaining professional experience, the students had the opportunity to explore Italy’s rich cultural heritage by visiting Venice, Parma, Verona, Bologna, Modena, and the Ferrari museums in Maranello.
This international mobility program contributed to the development of the participants’ professional, language, and social competencies, providing them with valuable practical experience and better preparation for their future success in the job market.
Thanks to the “Horizon” National Consortium, coordinated by Horizon ProConsult, the students had the opportunity to broaden their professional and personal horizons by participating in an international mobility program under the “Erasmus+” program and to prepare even more successfully for their future careers.
