At the end of June, the first of a series of meetings on the Work Based Learning – Pathway to youth empowerment project was held in Sofia. Partner countries Austria, Bulgaria, Spain, Greece, Portugal, Romania, Poland, and Italy presented their teams, exchanged ideas, best practices, and discussed the upcoming stages of the project and the participation of each of the organizations in them. All partners are up to speed with the activities in which they need are involved and future plans for the implementation of the project.
The results were clearly defined and the partner teams will work hard to achieve them in the coming months. The first project phase is about to start in which the participants will develop a guide on the use of European funding in connection with the implementation of international training activities and work-based learning training for VET students.
The guide will be part of a platform – a network for cooperation in the VET sector, which the partners will build as a result.
The next project meeting will take place in Portugal in early 2022.
All security measures were taken during the event in view of the Covid-19 pandemic.
